The Michigan World War II Legacy Memorial is an all-volunteer organization. Many board members were active with Honor Flight Michigan. Having forged lasting relationships with their beloved World War II veterans, they decided to ensure that the contributions of the Greatest Generation would never be forgotten by creating this lasting tribute.
